The BD-P1600 is brand new to the market and it has a lot of new features last year’s equivalent model (bd-p1500) doesn’t have. First of all, it is a lot smaller than last year’s models. Although the BD-P1500 was fast, this new BD-1600 is even faster. It take seconds to get “up & running”.
This blu-ray player is definitely easy to install and setup. The interface looks cool, sophisticated and has a high-tech feel to it. The menus look good and are easy to navigate as well.
If you are Netflix member, live becomes a lot easier with this new Samsung Blu-ray player. You can instantly stream your favorite movies and TV shows. Once selected, movies will begin playing in as little as 30 seconds. With the included remote control, Netflix members can browse and make selections right on the TV screen, read synopses and rate movies, and fast-forward or rewind the video stream. And here is another popular feature: the BD-P1600 can stream music though the popular Pandora music service.
